This geospatial humanities project maps the locations from which letters were sent to James Meredith, who integrated the University of Mississippi in 1962. By coding letters as "pro-" or "anti-" integration, the project offers insight into public attitudes about segregation. This presentation outlines the methodology, analysis, and future research directions.
